Halle Orchestra

The Halle Orchestra was founded in May 1957 by pianist and conductor Sir Charles Halle, and it’s internationally renowned.

The Halle Orchestra releases its recordings on its own record label, though it has occasionally released recordings on Angel Records and EMI, It also now encompasses a choir, youth choir, children’s choir and a youth orchestra.

The orchestra has been resident at the Bridgewater Hall since 1996.
